The Navy's 30th Bay Bridge Run/Walk



Celebrating its 30th year, this annual Navy-hosted event includes the public in raising money for the Navy's Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. MWR provides Quality of Life programs for our 500,000+ active duty and retired military, reservists, their family members and civilian employees who make up our San Diego Military Family. This unique 4-mile run/walk has a one of a kind spectacular panoramic view as participants make their way to Coronado's beautiful Tidelands Park from downtown San Diego over the Coronado Bay Bridge.

The Navy’s 31st Bay Bridge Run/Walk starts at One Park Blvd. at Harbor Drive near the San Diego Convention Center and travels south along Harbor Drive to Cesar E. Chavez Parkway. Participants head east to National Avenue, then up and over the Coronado Bay Bridge to the finish line inside Tidelands Park. Walkers are encouraged to bring cameras to take some great photos of San Diego and Coronado from on top of the bridge. Baby strollers, wheelchairs and service dogs are permitted. Skateboards, bikes, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited.
