The Navy's 30th Bay Bridge Run/Walk

Celebrating its 30th year, this annual Navy-hosted event includes the public in raising money for the Navy's Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. MWR provides Quality of Life programs for our 500,000+ active duty and retired military, reservists, their family members and civilian employees who make up our San Diego Military Family. This unique 4-mile run/walk has a one of a kind spectacular panoramic view as participants make their way to Coronado's beautiful Tidelands Park from downtown San Diego over the Coronado Bay Bridge.

Register Today!

Not up to running or walking the bridge? Be a volunteer! We are looking for motivated individuals or groups to volunteer at many of our different events, from the starting line downtown at the Hilton Bayfront, the Chicano Park water station, to the finish line at Coronado's Tidelands Park. Prior to race day, we have packet pickup and setup events. Refreshments will be served at all events. To thank you for your hard work, all volunteers receive: a Letter of Appreciation (LOA) and an event shirt.

Community service hours can be signed off by the Volunteer Coordinator at the completion of each event.

For more volunteer information or to sign up as a team or command, please email the Volunteer Coordinator at

Please fill out the Volunteer Services Agreement (below) and bring a signed copy with you to the first event you attend. If you are unable to print this out, we will have them available at volunteer check in.

Group Registration

We ask that each Group Leader verify that all group members print and sign the volunteer service agreement.  As we disseminate information, it will also be the Group Leader's responsibility to confirm with all members that the information has been received.

ONLY the Group POC needs to complete the Group registration  section.  The Volunteer coordinator will reply back to you with an excel document to collect your group participant(s) information.

If your volunteer group includes minors, we require at least one adult chaperon for every six volunteers. All minor volunteers are required to have a Parent or Legal Guardian's signature on the Volunteer Service Agreement.

Please note there is no guarantee volunteer groups will be tasked with the same areas and duties. We try our best to keep groups together, but depending on group size and where volunteers are needed, portions of groups could be tasked to other areas and duties.

Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have a Parent or Legal Guardian's signature on the Volunteer Service Agreement. Any individual volunteer under the age of 16, not registered with a group, will need to be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.

Complete the INDIVIDUAL section if interested as an individual volunteer. If volunteering Command/Group, only complete the GROUP fields below.
