Looking to Tailgate? 
Bring your own BBQ grill and enjoy the day with your family and friends in the comfort of your own designated area.
Call 619-524-6498 to register.

Open to authorized base patrons and their guests.
Access is limited to pedestrians only.
Parking will be available at NTC Branch Clinic, Harbor Drive Overflow Lot, and public parking lots in the area.
Shade structures must be weighted. Pets, glass containers, bicycles, scooters, and fireworks (including sparklers) are not permitted.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to assist us with setting up the largest event of the summer! Available volunteer shifts: Monday, July 3-Wednesday, July 5.

 Registered volunteers will receive:

  • A Volunteer T-Shirt
  • Food and Snacks
  • A Letter of Appreciation and Community Service Hours

Plan Ahead

This event is open to authorized base patrons and their guests. Base protocols and regulations will be in effect. Please be prepared for a security inspection.
 
  • Shade structures must be weighted. No stakes in the grass or artificial turf.
  • BBQs are limited to tailgating spaces only. Please call the NBPL Marina at 691-524-6498 for availability.
  • All MWR Facilities will be closed. Including the fitness facilities, NBPL Marina and the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center.
  • Strollers and wagons are permitted.
  • Outside food and drink is permitted. (No glass containers will be allowed).

Getting to the Event

Access is limited to pedestrians only. Event parking will not be permitted on base. Parking will be available at NTC Branch Clinic, Harbor Drive Overflow Lot, and public parking lots in the area. We recommend public transportation, ride sharing, and carpooling.

  • Pets
  • Glass containers
  • Bicycles, skateboards, and scooters
  • Fireworks including sparklers

Day of the Event

  • Firework viewing areas are considered open sitting and first come first serve.
  • Wristbands will be required for alcohol consumption (wristbands will be given at the MWR ticket booth).
  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
  • Games, inflatables, and activities are designed to be age appropriate.
