PGA Members on staff offer private and group Golf Instruction. Lesson packages can be designed to meet each student’s needs, whether it’s just one lesson for a “tune-up” or a series that covers putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, the full swing and on course play. If you’re new to the game, a series of five lessons will familiarize you with the fundamentals of the golf swing, golf terminology and give you the knowledge and confidence to go to a golf course and play a round of golf. Monday Niners Golf League
Every Monday beginning April 16. Play begins with a 5 pm Shotgun start. Students, faculty and DOD support staff can participate and guests are welcome to join you. Call the golf shop at 831-656-1087 for more details and to sign up to play. Entry fee includes green fee, cart fee & prize fund.
Golf Pro's Pointer
If you are serious about improving your golf swing try a half-hour lesson to review the fundamentals of a good posture, grip and alignment. A focus on these fundamentals will help improve your ball striking and score. If you’re new to the game, a series of five lessons is recommended. The series will expose you to the fundamentals of the golf swing, golf etiquette, golf terminology an on-course playing experience. After that you just need to practice, practice, practice!
