Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) provides a wide range of confidential and no-cost counseling and assistance, to include:

  • Family counseling, including blended families
  • Marriage/couple’s counseling
  • Domestic Abuse Victim Advocates
  • Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Services

Counseling could be for: adjusting to military life, anger management, communication and conflict resolution, deployment reintegration, divorce, grief & loss, infidelity, parenting skills, relationship challenges or anything else affecting your life.

Building Effective Anger Management Skills (BEAMS)

Build the resiliency you need to thrive in today’s stressful environment. Attendees will be provided with valuable and proven techniques for anger management.

Effective Communication for Couples

Master the skills of understanding non-verbal cues, constructive criticism, and active listening. Explore differences that affect communication as a couple, as well as how you can deepen your relationship.

Effective Communication in the Workplace

Use the power of communication to strengthen relationships at work by learning skills that build effective two-way communication.

Effective Parenting Workshop

Multi-session workshop discussing topics such as consistent and effective discipline, understanding developmental stages, communication with your child or young adult, building your child’s self-esteem, dealing with bullies, and other challenges that affect today’s family.

Holiday Stress Management

All shopped out, attended too many parties, and baked so many cookies you can't see straight? Learn how to effectively deal with the pressures, stress, and blues of the holiday season.

LGBT Military Family Support/Education Group

Join us for this interactive and fun support group for all LGBT military and families. Each month is unique. Open to single service members and couples with or without children.
