<p><strong>BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:</strong> Works under the general direction of the Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Manager and Facility Operations Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed and monitors operations of facility. This position will also include and is responsible for all prepared food and beverage service in a Starbucks style operation, requisitioning merchandise, customer service, ensuring adequate stock levels, proper marking, and sale of merchandise, receipt, pricing, maintenance and security of inventory, participating in periodic inventories; assuring maintenance of accountability documents and preparation of reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.</p>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</strong><br />
• Possess a fine sense of public and customer service with a background in a food service operation.<br />
• Skill to communicate effectively and deal capably and diplomatically with superiors, peers, subordinates and customers.<br />
• Knowledge and ability to account for materials, equipment and money placed in care<br />
• Knowledge of portion controls.<br />
• Knowledge of inventory procedures.<br />
• Knowledge of food service equipment, its uses and layout.<br />
• Knowledge of pricing and a recipe file system.<br />
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Projects and other related software programs.<br />
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage Point of Sales (POS) programs (i.e. Micros or Aloha).<br />
• Knowledge of fire, safety, security and NAVMED P5010 Chapter 1 sanitation rules and regulations.<br />
• Ability to supervise, coordinate and instruct.</p>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</strong><br />
• Minimum of one year specific experience working with victims of sexual assault and minimum of one year specific experience working with victims of domestic abuse or working in victim advocacy and victim advocacy services. A bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice or related social or behavioral science field preferred.<br />
• Must have the analytical ability and skill in interpersonal relationships.<br />
• Must have knowledge of the dynamics of sexual assault and domestic abuse and victim advocacy and care. Knowledge of the military, Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Navy (DON) and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program is preferred.<br />
• Must have the ability to understand, be sensitive to, and have empathy for victims; must have the ability to develop trusting helping relationships and to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds.<br />
• Must have the ability to intervene in crisis situations, using sound professional judgment, ethical practice and common sense.<br />
• Must have the ability to work cooperatively with military and civilian medical, social service, law enforcement and legal personnel on behalf of victims.<br />
• Must be skilled in written and verbal communication.<br />
• Must have demonstrated the ability to provide effective trainings and briefings.<br />

<p><strong>BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF</strong> <strong>DUTIES:</strong> This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest. The primary purpose of this position is to perform operational tasks to oversee the Base Theater used for recreational movies and command training/briefing sessions. Performs other duties as assigned.</p>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</strong><br />
• Two years experience in related recreational activity<br />
• Cash handling experience desirable<br />
• Ability to organize and coordinate activity<br />
• Ability to perform minor maintenance of equipment<br />
• Ability to maintain reports and records<br />
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations<br />
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions<br />
• Ability to communicate and deal effectively with others<br />
• Knowledge and ability to maintain facility according to sanitation standards<br />
• Knowledge and skill to promote good customer relations<br />
• Must have a valid driver’s license<br />
• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background Investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.</p>
